297A Irish Stallion Farms EBF (M) M'dn H'dle

T. Joseph Kelly, rider of Tropical Image, trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount kept backing off the hurdles after two horse's fell in front of her down the back straight.

P.J. Carberry, rider of Madam Baun, trained by Noel W. O'Neill, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was lame post race which was confirmed by the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, G.B. Noonan, rider of Dark Image (GB), trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was hanging in and flat out rounding the last bend when a horse on his outside leaned in on top of him and his chance was gone after that.

297B Tote Fantasy H'cap H'dle

A.P. Kelly, rider of Florey Spud, trained by P.F.O'Donnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

R. Deegan, rider of Gimmeago, trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung the whole way.

C.P. McNamara, rider of Londonofficecallin, trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left up the straight.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference jumping the last hurdle involving Old Chap, ridden by J.G. Gilligan, placed sixth, Londonofficecallin, ridden by C.P. McNamara, placed first, Walk Out, ridden by A.P. Kelly, placed fourth, and Toor Moon, ridden by C. Brassil, placed second, where it appeared Londonofficecallin jumped left causing interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.G. Gilligan stated that he recieved a bump from his right. C.P. McNamara stated that he was trying his best to keep his mount straight when he jumped left at the last. A.P. Kelly stated he felt pressure from his right. C. Brassil stated he received a bump but didn't have to stop riding. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Steward made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and took no further action.

Paul John Gilligan, trainer of Old Chap, reported to the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer that his charge had a graze on his right hind and was lame post race.

M.P. O'Connor, rider of Nicoles Getaway, trained by Sean Aherne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly and pulled up.

297F Play Tote Fantasy At Tote.ie Hcap Schase

The Raceday Stewards interviewed G.B. Noonan, rider of Avec Espoir (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of Regulation 10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that G.B. Noonan was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) (frequency) and 10.3(i) (time to respond). Having taken his previous record into account the Raceday Stewards suspended G.B. Noonan for eight racedays. Mr. S. McDonogh did not attend this enquiry.

297G Tote Fantasy Beginners S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ceanndana, trained by Ross O'Sullivan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

K.M. Donoghue, rider of Ceanndana, trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount struggled on the ground and pulled up.
