The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Michael Mulvany, trainer of Jembatt (off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

P.J.Smullen replaced L.F. Roche on Love Me Too, trained by W. McCreery (Race 3)(Stewards permission- see report)

241A Ir.Stallion Farms EBF(C&G)Med.Auct.M'dn

G.F. Carroll, rider of Maluhia trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly in running.

241B Lets Go Europe Ryder Cup Gowran Nursery

Anastasia O'Brien, rider of Cocoon, trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount did not get a clear run.

The Stewards enquired into the circumstances surrounding the late arrival of L.F. Roche, the declared rider of Love Me Too, necessitating a change of rider. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that his car broke down and he was delayed waiting for a mechanic. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards found the rider to be in breach of Rule 196 and having considered his record, fined him €200.

241C BestOfLuck Kilkenny This Sunday (F) M'dn

The Stewards informed Peter McCreery, trainer that El Dem I, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

The Stewards requested a report from G.M.Lyons, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Crafted Mastery, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that the horse benefited from the application of blinkers for the first time. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

241D Kilkenny Apprentice H'cap

I.T. Queally, rider of Alfaayza, trained by Patrick J.Flynn, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount clipped heals and was unseated after the winning post.

241E Next Meeting Gowran Denny Cordell H'cap

The Stewards enquired into an incident inside the final furlong involving Snowmane, ridden by C.T. Keane, unplaced, Notable Graduate, ridden by P.J. Smullen, placed second and Zarib, ridden by S. Foley, placed third, where it appeared that Snowmane ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental and took no further action.

241F 100 Years Racing H'cap

The Stewards enquired into an incident leaving the back straight involving Nurse Ryan, ridden by S.J. Hassett, unplaced and General Bunching (USA), ridden by R.P. Cleary, unplaced , where it appeared that Nurse Ryan ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.

S.J. Hassett, rider of Nurse Ryan, trained by Martin Hassett, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost her action and pulled up.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Abrahams Blessing trained by R.P.Burns, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly in running.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Aussie Guest, trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

241G Gowran Park Santa Train M'dn

F.M. Berry, rider of Golden Ticket (AUS), trained by C.Roche, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung badly in running.
