The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Buttermere Ridge trained by W. McCreery had a small amount of blood at its right nostril post race.

397B Irish Stallion Farms EBF Race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages of this race involving Nemonte, ridden by M.W Hassett, placed fifth, and Ribchestina, ridden by R.C. Colgan placed third, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. M.W. Hassett stated that R.C. Colgan leaned in on top of him but there was no contact. R.C. Colgan stated that he drifted to the rail after the winner as he didn't hear a shout. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings. However, they were satisfied that R.C. Colgan was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard(first offence), the Raceday Stewards suspended him for one raceday.

R.C. Colgan, rider of Ribchestina, trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount drifted left after the winner.

397C Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Bella Mistiko, ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed sixth, Campari Soda, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed third, and Gushing (USA), ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed fourth, where it appeared L.T. McAteer had to sit momentarily. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

397D Gowran Park H'cap

A.J. Slattery, rider of Cloud Seeker (GB), trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to stop riding approximately about a furlong out.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Surfers Paradise, ridden by D. McMonagle, placed third, and Cloud Seeker (GB), ridden by A.J. Slattery, placed second, where it appeared A.J. Slattery had to stop riding momentarily. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. McMonagle stated that he felt A.J. Slaterry didn't have the horse to go for the gap and when his mount drifted left he corrected him immediately. A.J Slattery stated that he was half in the gap when the horse on his outside drifted across him. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Quantum Light, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount let fly at the chase fence mark and was unseated.

397F Irish EBF Spring Series Med. Auct. M'dn

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at the top of the straight involving Soul Of Spain, ridden by D. McMonagle, placed third, and Total Look (FR), ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed second, where it appeared there was contact between the two. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. McMonagle stated that he received a slight bump but as soon he gave G.F. Carroll a shout he corrected him immediately. G.F. Carroll stated that he heard a shout from D. McMonagle and he straightened his mount up immediately. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.
