The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

S.F. O'Keeffe replaced P.T. Enright on Bobbisilver, trained by Paul John Gilligan (Race 1) (unwell)
D.E. Mullins replaced P.T. Enright on Gallant John Joe, trained by Oliver McKiernan (Race 2) (unwell)

P. Townend, rider of Ninth Titan, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Ninth Titan, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have evidence of kick back in its nostrils but was otherwise found to be post race normal.

Prior to the meeting, the Raceday Stewards approved a request from Clerk of the Course, Mr. Lorcan Wyer, to amend the distance of this race to 2m 175yrds, due to rail realignment.

217B BoyleSports H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards interviewed David Casey, Authorised Representative for W.P. Mullins, trainer of La Prima Donna (FR), concerning the conduct of their charge which refused to race. Having viewed a recording of the start and considering the animal's previous record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended La Prima Donna from running for 30 days in accordance with the provisions of Rule 14(iii).

P. Townend, rider of Power Of Pause, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

B. Hayes, rider of La Prima Donna (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount refused to race.

K. Callaghan, rider of Nikini, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not handle the ground.

Prior to the meeting, the Raceday Stewards approved a request from Clerk of the Course, Mr. Lorcan Wyer, to amend the distance of this race to 2m 6f 140yrds, due to rail realignment.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Mexican Joe, trained by Luke Comer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

217D Bathshack M'dn

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately a furlong after the start involving Lord Vader (GB), ridden by R.P. Whelan, Rapid City, ridden by N.M. Crosse, Our Matilda, ridden by J. Kearney, Saffronandblue, ridden by L.T. McAteer and Simpson's Paradox, ridden by S. Foley where it appeared Our Matilda clipped a heel unseating her rider as a result. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R.P. Whelan stated he was on the wide outside and did not contribute to the incident. N.M. Crosse stated that his mount broke quickly and ran keenly but felt he was in front of the incident. J. Kearney stated that he was holding his line when he felt pressure from his left causing him to clip a heel. L.T. McAteer stated that he was holding his line. S. Foley stated that he was taking back off Rapid City who was running keenly and felt the incident was caused by Our Matilda running close on heels. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the incident was caused by Our Matilta clipping a heel and therefore they took no further action.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Lord Vader (GB), trained by Emmet Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran too keenly.

217E Grá Chocolates Irish EBF Nursery H'cap

L.T. McAteer, rider of Jakajaro, trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around in the straight.

217F Ardilaun Hotel H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the run out of the dip involving Soi Dao, ridden by Amy Jo Hayes, placed sixth, Thefullbackline (GB), ridden by L.T. McAteer, unplaced, Little Keilee, ridden by C. Stone-Walsh, placed third and Allo Arry, ridden by C.J. MacRedmond, unplaced, where it appeared Allo Arry was tight for room making contact with the rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Amy Jo Hayes stated that she had to take back when Allo Arry checked. L.T. McAteer stated that his horse was lugging in all the way and confirmed that he received no interference from his outside. C. Stone-Walsh stated that he was in front of the incident and did not contribute. C.J. McRedmond stated that he received pressure from his outside causing him to check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that L.T. McAteer was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended him for 2 racedays.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the bend into the straight involving Soi Dao, ridden by Amy Jo Hayes, placed sixth, and Allo Arry, ridden by C.J. MacRedmond, unplaced, where it appeared Allo Arry had to check when tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Amy Jo Hayes felt she was clear of Allo Arry when allowing her mount to drift to the rail. C.J. MacRedmond stated that he received interference causing him to check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Amy Jo Hayes in breach of Rule 214 in that she had ridden carelessly and having considered her record in this regard, they suspended her for 2 racedays.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at approximately the 200 yrd marker involving Soi Dao, ridden by Amy Jo Hayes, placed sixth, and Thefullbackline (GB), unplaced, ridden by L.T. McAteer where it appeared Thefullbackline was tight for room on the rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Amy Jo Hayes stated that she went for a gap and felt she was clear of Thefullbackline at the time but on reviewing the video evidence accepted it did not look great. L.T. McAteer stated that he had to take a check when his ground was taken. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Amy Jo Hayes in breach of Rule 214 in that she had ridden carelessly and having considered her record in this regard, they suspended her for 4 racedays.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Half Nutz, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away and ran short of room late on.

C.J. MacRedmond, rider of Allo Arry, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was short of room twice on the bend into the straight.

The IHRB Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Shawaamekh (GB) trained by J.F. Levins had blood at the right nostril post race possibly as a result of banging his head in the stalls.

217G McDonogh Capital Investments H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after turning into the straight involving Herculaneum, ridden by Sorcha Woods, placed third, Razdan, ridden by Adam Caffrey, placed fourth, and Oriole (GB), ridden by S. Foley, placed sixth, where it appeared Oriole ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Sorcha Woods stated she was holding her racing line. Adam Caffrey stated his mount was leaning in on top of Oriole from a long way out and he was trying his best to correct him. S. Foley stated that he was tight for room for a few strides. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Adam Caffrey had done all he could to avoid causing the incident and therefore took no further action.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Razdan, trained by Christopher David Timmons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged right around the bend.

S. Foley, rider of Oriole (GB), trained by Ian Patrick Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was tight for room in the straight.

217H BoyleSports Irish EBF INH (M) Flat Race

Muredach Kelly, trainer of In My Defense, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge ran too freely and made a noise.
