The Stewards fined D. T. Hughes, trainer, €130 for lodging a passport in respect of Kind Offer, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Ballygill Katie, trained by V. T. O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

294F Ennis Lifts H'cap S'chase

Owing to the low lying elevation of the sun, the Stewards granted permission for the fourth last fence to be omitted on both circuits of this race

294G NUIG Horse Racing (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed K.C. Sexton, rider of The Winkler concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that K.C. Sexton was in breach of R10(3)(f) by using his whip with excessive frequency and having considered his record, suspended him for four race days.
