The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

K.J. Manning replaced R.C. Colgan on Three Bells, trained by Patrick Downey (Race 4)(Injured)

193A Irish Stallion Farms EBF Auction M'dn

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Alfie's Word, trained by Desmond McDonogh, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung to the left throughout this race.

193B Magners Berry M'dn

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the latter stages of this race involving Aru Cha Cha (GB), ridden by C.R. King, placed third, Texas Rock, ridden by N.G. McCullagh, placed first and Belts And Braces, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed fourth, where it appeared Belts And Braces was tight for room on the rails. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. David Marnane, trainer, attended this enquiry with his rider C.R. King. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.

193C Now Is A Good Time H'cap

C.D. Hayes, rider of Anner Queen, trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount missed the break and raced at the rear, was unable to find room to challenge until getting a gap late and stayed on in the closing stages.

193D Magners Light H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from Patrick J.Flynn, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Little Sweetheart, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Eoin Norris, Authorised representative for Patrick J. Flynn reported that this filly has very good pace but has a difficulty staying five furlongs. He felt that the downhill track here and the fast ground were the two contributing factors to today's improved performance. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

193F Apple Orchard H'cap

The Stewards requested a report from P.J.Prendergast, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Windward Passage, placed first, as compared with its recent run. P.J. Prendergast stated that the application of blinkers has a definite positive effect on his charge and a liking for a faster surface is another factor which contributed to the improved performance. He added that his charge failed to handle the soft ground at Leopardstown. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of his report.
