Edward Lynam, trainer of Boston Rocker, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge showed signs of being in season post race.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Leitir Mor, trained by J. S. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing post race.
