The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

R.P. Whelan, rider of Spodo Komodo (GB), trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the starting stalls.

221C Matchbook Supp, Local Apprentice H'cap

R. Donaghue-Leahy, rider of Reinforce, trained by Miss Katy Brown, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount was slowly away.

C. Cusack, rider of Luminessa, trained by Jack W. Davison, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was fractious in the starting stalls.

221D Bet 20 Get 40 With Matchbook H'cap

The Raceday Stewards reviewed where Dynamic Force, ridden by Sadhbh Tormey, manoeuvered right early in the home straight. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rappell, trained by Paul W. Flynn, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Cillian Rowan, rider of Land Of The Giants, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the Whip Regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Cillian Rowan was in breach of R10.3(b)(out of contention) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays. Senior Rider J.J.G Ryan accompanied Cillian Rowan for this enquiry.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Profit Surge, trained by Gerard Keane, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

221E Hurling For Cancer August 24th (F) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards informed Edward P. Mitchell, trainer, that a repeat performance of his charge Shelton Spring, who misbehaved on the way to the start and was subsequently withdrawn by order of The Raceday Stewards may render the animal liable to suspension in the future.

S. Coen, rider of Zesty Belle, trained by M.O.Quigley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the starting stalls.
