199A INCO Broking M'dn H'dleThe Raceday Stewards received a request from Eric McNamara, Trainer, of Eyecanboogie, to run without the declared tongue tie as she had resented the application. The Raceday Stewards granted the request in accordance with the provisions of R.194(ii)(d).
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident bewtween the third last and second last hurdle involving Tyson Fury (GB), ridden by D. King, Early Dawning (TUR), ridden by P. Townend, and Happy Me, ridden by Alan O'Sullivan where it appeared Early Dawning ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P. Townend stated that a gap opened between the leaders after the third last hurdle and as he rode into the gap it briefly got tight for room. D. King stated that he felt he kept a straight line after the third last hurdle. Alan O'Sullivan stated that his mount made a mistake at the third last hurdle and as he recovered his momentum he received a bump from his right. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
199B D. Ivo O'Sullivan Mem. Irish EBF (M) HdlMr T. O'Connor, rider of Taketwotoone, trained by Turlough O'Connor, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped right.
199C1 Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the run to the first hurdle involving Cornaroya Rocco, ridden by H.E. Sexton, Diamond Secret (FR), ridden by Niall Moore, and Listentomewillya, ridden by C.D Smithers, where it appeared Diamond Secret was forced wide resulting in him running out. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the incident was caused by Cornaroyo Rocco jinking badly right on the approach to the first hurdle despite his riders best efforts and that no further action was warranted.
J.G. Gilligan, rider of Ancient Myth, trained by N.F. Glynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
P.M. O'Brien, rider of Penny Jar, trained by Patrick Downey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up.
199C2 Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident at the final hurdle involving Luck Between Us, ridden by Niall Moore, placed first, and Koeur A Prendre (FR), ridden by Michael Kenneally, placed second, where it appeared Luck Between Us jumped right colliding with Koeur A Prendre on landing. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no riding offence was committed and that no further action was warranted.
P. Cleary, rider of Boston Queen, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up.
H.E. Sexton, rider of Mother Ship, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got squeezed going to the first hurdle.
D.J. O'Connor, rider of Tedworth, trained by Michael Barry, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
D.G. Whelan, rider of Miss Donna, trained by Patrick John Kiely, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up lame. The IHRB Veterinary Officer confirmed that Miss Donna was lame on her left fore post race.
199D Noel C. Duggan Steel 110 Final Hcp H'dleP.M. O'Brien, rider of Tuche De Houelle (FR), trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
199F Matchbook Exchange INH Flat RaceThe Raceday Stewards granted a request from Kieran Purcell, Trainer of Bairdin and Charles Kickham, for an additional ten minutes to present his charges for identification by an IHRB Official as per the provisions of Rule 90(i).
199G Kate Kearney's (Ladies P-Am) Flat RaceThe Raceday Stewards informed P J Breen, Trainer, of Langage Du Large, who refused to line up and was withdrawn by order of the Raceday Stewards, that a repeat performance may render the animal liable for a suspension.
