The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Alan O'Sullivan rode Bowgate Street (reserve) trained by M. Flannery (Race 6)
S. Ewing replaced D. Meyler on Joe Cool, trained by Noel Meade (Race 4)(Stood down)
D. King replaced Michael Kenneally on Eye Of A Tiger, trained by John Patrick Ryan (Race 5)(Stood down)

136A Auray Assessors (Fillies) M'dn H'dle

The Raceday Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Tex Amare (GER), trained by Anthony Mullins, for failing to present the horse for identification to an Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (i).

136B KPMG H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Porcupine Bank, ridden by Sam Ewing, and Munsif, ridden by P. Byrnes, where it appeared Porcupine Bank crossed Munsif. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Sam Ewing stated that he felt he was clear and caused no interference. P. Byrnes stated that he switched when the other horse went to the rail. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards gave Sam Ewing the benefit of the doubt on this occasion and took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kai Lung (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have lost its left fore shoe in running but to be otherwise post race normal.

136C1 Sheridan Electric M'dn H'dle

The Raceday Stewards fined D.M. Christie, trainer, €65 for failing to fit the declared cheek pieces to Sampoet prior to entering the parade ring.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Extra Beat trained by Paul John Gilligan was found to be lame on its right hind post race.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, C.P. Millar, rider of Drumconnor Hill, trained by Cian Collins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made an abnormal respiratory noise in running turning out of the back straight.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed C.P. Millar, rider of Drumconnor Hill, in relation to his failure to report something that may have effected his mounts running in todays race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he forgot to report that his mount made an abnormal respiratory noise in running and apologised. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that C. P. Millar was in breach of Rule 213 and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended C. P. Millar for one raceday.

Mr O.T. Gilligan, rider of Extra Beat, trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was pulled up injured.

C.M Hogan, rider of Evangelic, trained by R. K. Watson, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was very keen to post and collided with one of the other runners. Having viewed a recording of the incident and considered the matter the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

J.G. Gilligan, rider of Jerry From Kerry, trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the second last hurdle.

136D John & Margaret Monroe Mem.(M) Hcap Hdle

The Raceday Stewards received a request from John Patrick Ryan, trainer of Eye Of A Tiger, to substitute the nominated rider Michael Kenneally, with D. King, due to Michael Kenneally being stood down. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who stated that his charge can be tricky and D. King has previously ridden her on the track and knows her well as he regularly rides work and schools at home. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards allowed the request on this occasion and took no further action.

136E Portwest H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident turning into the home straight involving Ned In The Park, ridden by Mr D. Doyle, Allo Al Khawaneej (GB), ridden by P. Byrnes, Atlantic Gamble (GB), ridden by J.G. Gilligan, Valsorpresa (GB), ridden by H.E. Sexton, and Bowgate Street, ridden by Alan O'Sullivan where it appeared Atlantic Gamble ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr D. Doyle stated that he suffered no interference. P. Byrnes stated that he maintained his line and caused no interference. J. G. Gilligan stated that his race was run and there was a knock on effect when things got a little tight. H. E. Sexton stated that his mount was tiring when things got tight. Alan O'Sullivan stated that his race was run but he was still in the gap and he felt it was general bunching. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

Smithers, Kazakh D'arthel (FR), ridden by K.M. Donoghue, Wandering Rocks (GB), ridden by P.M. O'Brien, Allo Al Khawaneej (GB), ridden by P. Byrnes, Moylussa, ridden by P.K. Donovan, Can Happen, ridden by D.J Gilligan, Piccolo Player, ridden by D. King, Desert Haven (GB), ridden by D. Meyler, Atlantic Gamble (GB), ridden by J.G. Gilligan, Cornaroya Rocco, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe, Kelly's Cosmos, ridden by G.B. Noonan, Valsorpresa (GB), ridden by H.E. Sexton, Expert Analysis, ridden by S.F. O'Keeffe, and Bowgate Street, ridden by Alan O'Sullivan. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned and the IHRB Starter. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

136F FBD H'cap H'dle

Josh Williamson, rider of Obey The Order, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
