The Stewards informed D. K. Weld, trainer that Time Tunnel (GB), would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

T.P. Madden, rider of Arctic Blaze, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was very slowly away from the stalls.

089C Newbridge Bad Lippspringe Twinning H'cap

The Stewards interviewed J.M. Sheridan, rider of Lincoln, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned in the presence of Ms. Sheila Lavery, who accompanied J.M. Sheridan. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards cautioned J.M. Sheridan on this occasion.

089D Woodlands Stakes

The Stewards informed K.J. Condon, trainer that Mistress Of Venice (GB), would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

089E Blackwater H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Chocolate Music trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount didn't stride out in the straight.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Dadoozdart (GB), trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was hampered after 100 yards.

089F1 Paddy Power H'cap

A.J. Farragher, rider of Force Of Cashen trained by Peter Croke, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was checked badly after a 3 furlongs.

T.P. Madden, rider of Ten Joys trained by J.C.Hayden, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly.

The Stewards interviewed L.F. Roche, rider of Harry Speed, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards cautioned L.F. Roche on this occasion.

Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards cautioned C.D. Hayes on this occasion.

Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards cautioned G.M. Ryan on this occasion.
