The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Scatty Cat, at the request of trainer, John James Feane, and reported the animal to have burst a blood vessel.

242B Gilna's Cottage Inn M'dn

W.J. Lee, rider of Smallnsmart, trained by T.Hogan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung throughout this race.

242C Marquees Nationwide Claiming Race

The Stewards enquired into an incident about two furlongs from the finish involving Curl Cat (USA), ridden by R.P. Cleary, unplaced, Like Magic, ridden by A.P. Thornton, placed second and Valley Queen (GB), ridden by C.R. King, placed fifth, where it appeared that Like Magic ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.

P.J. Smullen, rider of Snoqualmie Chief (GB), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount finished lame .

242D Barry Matthews Appreciation (QR) H'cap

Mr R.P. McNamara, rider of He's Got Rhythm, trained by David Marnane, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled throughout this race.

242E O'Neills Sports H'cap

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Big Bad Lily, trained by K.J. Condon, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame in front post race.
