The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Peter Fahey, trainer of Sinngali (Late withdrawal - Stiff) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Miss F. O'Brien rode Runcok (FR) (reserve) trained by W.P. Mullins (Race 5)

100A Kildare Hunt Club S'chase (Ladies Cup)

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from John F. Gleeson, trainer of Rathcannon Violet for an additional 10 minutes to present his charge for an identification to an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (i).

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Haggard trained by Colin Bowe was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Bonny Dazzler (FR) trained by Thomas Corish was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

100C The KPMG Champion Novice H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Tullyhill (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.W. Kennedy, rider of Firefox, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for 8 race days (third offence).

100D Killashee Hotel H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approaching three out involving Brentford Hope (GB), ridden by P.V. O'Brien, and Call Me Lyreen, ridden by C.P. Millar where it appeared horses got tight for room on the inner. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P.V. O'Brien stated that he was on the inside, as the rail ends it opens up and the horses behind him tried to go where there was no gap, there was no room on the inner. C.P. Miller stated that he was rowing forward, trying to get closer and got squeezed up on the rail. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any individual rider and took no further action.

100E Goffs Defender Bumper

Mr F. Maguire, rider of Pavilion End (GB), trained by Charles O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

100F William Hill Champion S'chase

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Fil Dor (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

100G Dooley Insurance Champion Novice S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Embassy Gardens (GB), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

100H Haier INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Balko D'ange (FR), ridden by Mr E.P. O'Brien, Lauro's Legend, ridden by Mr C. Mullins, and Endless Pursuit, ridden by Mr B. O'Neill where it appeared that Endless Pursuit caught a heel and unseated her rider. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr. E.P. O'Brien stated that it was getting tight, he wasn't aware of an incident behind him but he didn't do anything untoward. Mr. C. Mullins stated that his mount shied from the fence in the straight and edged right a touch. Mr. B. O'Neill stated that he dropped in, he went for a gap which closed from the outside at which point he gave a shout. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Lauro's Legend shied from the fence on his left and took no further action.

Mr D.L. Queally, rider of Broderick, trained by Declan Queally, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset at the start.

Mr D. McGill, rider of Clever One, trained by S.R.B. Crawford, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran too keen and got wound-up.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the turn into the straight involving Colcannon, ridden by Mr D. O'Connor, Lauro's Legend, ridden by Mr C. Mullins, and Sixandahalf, ridden by Mr D.G. Lavery, where it appeared Lauro's Legend was pushed wide. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
