The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

P.J. Carberry rode Inchiquin Star (reserve), trained by Paul Stephen Kiely (Race 1)
Alan King rode Dixon Line (GB) (reserve), trained by Adrian Sexton (Race 3)

046A Wexford (Mares) M'dn H'dle

B. Hayes, rider of Double Pink, trained by Daniel G. Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was carried out by the loose horse.

046B Visit Wexford M'dn H'dle

The I.H.R.B. Veterinary Officer examined Got To Fly, trained by J.P. Dempsey, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

C.D. Maxwell, rider of Itsabeautifulnoise, trained by Conor David Maxwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

046C M2 Construction, Wexford Nov H'cap H'dle

E. Walsh, rider of Must Meet Cecil, trained by Cian Michael Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran freely in the early stages of the race.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed P.J. Carberry, rider of Nemean (USA), concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence P.J. Carberry accepted that he was in breach of the whip guidelines. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that P.J. Carberry was in breach of R10 3 (i) time to respond. Having considered his record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr.P.L. Malone, that A.M. King, rider of Dixon Line (GB), had weighed in 1.1lbs heavy which is above the permitted amount allowed. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that after wasting hard all day he had a drink after weighing out and this might explain the discrepincy. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that A.M. King was in breach of Rule 231(i) and having considered his record, they cautioned him on this occasion.

E. Walsh, rider of Barbary Master (GB), trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel and was pulled up. This was subsequently confirmed by the I.H.R.B. Veterinary Officer.

046F Eoin O'Gorman Solicitors H'cap S'chase

B.W. Harvey, rider of Battle Of Benburb, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered at the start.

R. Deegan, rider of Cru Bourgeois (FR), trained by Paul Nolan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered at the start.

P. Byrnes, rider of Aodhan May, trained by C. Byrnes, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered at the start, left on his own and refused at the first fence.

Owing to low lying trajectory of the sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for fence six to be omitted from this race.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from the I.H.R.B. Starter, Mr. P.F. Graffin, that all the riders in this race came forward prior to being instructed to and before the flag had been dropped. Evidence was heard from D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Added Bonus, B.W. Harvey, rider of Battle Of Benburb, R. Deegan, rider of Cru Bourgeois (FR), P. Byrnes, rider of Aodhan May, Sam Ewing, rider of Definetly Darsi, E. Walsh, rider of Latest Model, K.E. Buckley, rider of Caridadi, P.J. O'Hanlon, rider of Finnians Row, A.M. King, rider of West Is Best, C.P O'Shea, rider of General Ryan, G. Brouder, rider of Capture The Drama, C.D. Maxwell, rider of Ocean Legacy, S.W. Flanagan, rider of Shamror Lass, S.D. Torrens, rider of Agirlcalledchloe, K.C. Sexton, rider of So Ladylike and S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Bugscuffle. Having viewed the recording of the start and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that D.J. O'Keeffe, R. Deegan, Sam Ewing, E. Walsh, G. Brouder, C.D. Maxwell and S.D. Torrens were in breach of Rule 208. Having taken their respective records into account the Raceday Stewards suspended R. Deegan, Sam Ewing, C.D. Maxwell and S.D. Torrens for 1 raceday, D.J. O'Keeffe for 2 racedays, E. Walsh and G. Brouder for 3 racedays.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Ocean Legacy, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Mr Colm Hand, Authorised Representative, stated that the horse ran previously on heavy ground and failed to act on it and also a switch to todays better ground had brought about todays apparent improvement. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the start of this race where after the tape was let go Definitely Darsi whipped around unseating Sam Ewing and hampering Battle Of Benburb, Cru Bourgeois and Aodhan May. Having considered all the evidence and viewed a recording of the start, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that a fair start had been effected and took no further action.

046G ISF EBF Auction (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Dancing City (FR), ridden by Mr P.W. Mullins, placed first and Littlefoot, ridden by Mr H.C. Swan, placed second, where it appeared they made contact. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr. H.C. Swan stated that he had received contact from his left. Mr.P.W. Mullins stated that he had kept a straight line and that he had received contact from his right causing his horse to turn slightly right. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alterations to the Judges placings and took no further action.
