The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

G. B. Noonan rode Lighthouse Lady (reserve) trained by Edmond Kent (Race 2)
P. T. Enright rode Direct Image (reserve) trained by Robert Tyner (Race 2)

106A Hotel Minella (Mares) M'dn H'dle

A.P. Kelly, rider of Ladylea trained by M.C.Hickey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

P.J. Carberry, rider of Nifty Millie trained by Brian M. McMahon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Take Tea trained by W.P. Mullins was found to be lame right fore post race.

106C Tipperary Racecourse H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Full Noise, trained by Ronan M.P. McNally, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have a wound to its right fore tendon.

P.J. O'Hanlon, rider of Spare Brakes trained by V.C.Ward, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made an abnormal respiratory noise in running.

106D Berkshire & Rich History Beginners S'ch

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Quirt Evans trained by David M.O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung severely throughout.

106E Glenview & Rathbarry Stud Nov.Hunter Sch

Mr P.A. King, rider of Clonmeen trained by William P Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel. This was confirmed by the I.H.R.B Veterinary Officier.

The Stewards interviewed Mr C. Mullins, rider of Its On The Line, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. C. Mullins was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency and 10.3.h, arm above shoulder height and 10.3.i,time to respond. Having considered Mr. C. Mullins' record in this regard the Stewards suspended Mr. C. Mullins for three racedays.

106F p2p.ie (Mares) Pt-To-Pt INH Flat Race

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Ms. J. Walsh, that Mr T. Feeney, rider of Kym Eyre, had presented himself to weigh out at two pounds overweight, none of which had been declared at declaration time. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that this was the case. Having considered the evidence and consulted with the trainer, the Stewards allowed Mr. T. Feeney to take up his mount. They were however satisfied that Mr. T. Feeney was in breach of Rule 195 and 198. Having considered Mr. T. Feeney's record in this regard the Stewards fined Mr. T. Feeney €150 on this occasion.

Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. T. Feeney was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency and 10.3.i, time to respond. Having considered Mr. T. Feeney's record in this regard the Stewards suspended Mr. T. Feeney for one raceday.

106G p2p.ie (C&G) Pt-To-Pt INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr J.C. Barry, rider of Bushmans Pass, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. J. C. Barry was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency, and 10.3,f, excessive force. Having considered Mr. J. C. Barry's record in this regard the Stewards suspended Mr. J. C. Barry for two racedays.
