176A Junction 3-Y-O M'dn H'dle

The Stewards received a report from Mr. P. Deegan, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that R.J. Condon , rider of Apache Hammy, weighed in at 1.3Ib lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he had a drink after weighing out but accepted that he was in breach. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that R.J. Condon was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his record they cautioned him on this occasion.

B.J. Cooper, rider of Poets Cottage trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped on landing which caused him to get unseated.

E. Walsh, rider of Mastermind trained by Charles O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stayed on onepaced.

Damian Murphy, trainer of Jakie Mac, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge had a cut to his off fore shin post race.

176D Tipperary Town M'dn H'dle

J.B. Foley, rider of Watch The Weather (GB) trained by R.P.Cody, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped poorly early on and stayed on past tired horses.

Mr T. O'Connor, rider of Corrin View trained by Turlough O'Connor, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made an abnormal respiratory noise during this race.

176E Tipperary H'cap H'dle

J.G. Gilligan, rider of Varna Gold trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled throughout this race and was pulled up.

P.J. O'Hanlon, rider of Staging Post trained by Mark Michael McNiff, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled throughout this race and was pulled up.

C.G. O'Dwyer, rider of Guiri (GER) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped poorly throughout this race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Guiri (GER), trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kingston Retreat (GB), trained by Sean O. O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have got struck into on his left hind, but was otherwise post race normal.

R.A. Doyle, rider of Rosy Story trained by Paul Tobin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

G.B. Noonan, rider of Lightning Star trained by Augustine Leahy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

Kieran Callaghan, rider of De Grey Mink trained by Liam G O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

P.J. O'Hanlon, rider of Tipperary Dexter trained by Leonard Paul Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

176G Racing Again August 5th INH Flat Race

The Stewards enquired from Mr H.C. Swan, rider of King Of The Park and Mr. R.W. Barron, rider of Kalahari Diamond, who both fell on the flat turning into the back straight. Mr H.C. Swan, reported that his mount sustained an injury and fell. Mr. R.W. Barron, reported that his mount was brought down by Mr Swan's mount. Having considered the evidence and viewed a recording of the race, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
