The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C.T. Keane replaced S.P. Davis on Spy (GB), trained by C.Byrnes (Race 5)(injured).

128A Roscommon Claiming M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined No Such Thing, trained by G.M.Lyons, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J. Kearney, rider of Beat The Devil, trained by Patrick Magee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

128B Irish EBF Auction Series M'dn

D.S. O'Sullivan, rider of Cliadh Dubh, trained by Daniel William O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ducked left coming out of the stalls.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Gas Works Wall, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran up on the rails on the first bend.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident rounding the first bend involving Spinning Around, ridden by G.M. Ryan, Cliadh Dubh, ridden by D.S. O'Sullivan, and Gas Works Wall, ridden by D.P. McDonogh where it appeared Gas Works Wall struck the rail knocking an upright. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.P. McDonogh stated that his mount darted for the railing of its own accord. G.M. Ryan and D.S. O'Sullivan both agreed with his evidence. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

128C McGowan Accountancy Services H'cap

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of River Derwent (GB), trained by Thomas Coyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stood in the stalls and was slowly away.

C. Geerdharry, rider of Dubirango, trained by F.Birrane, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount plunged coming out of the stalls.

128E Abbey Hotel Roscommon H'cap

R. Donaghue-Leahy, rider of Bright N Shine, trained by Terence O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount stumbled coming out of the stalls.

128F Garvey's Bar, Ballintubber H'cap

M.W Hassett, rider of Solar Drive, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount clipped a heel in running.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Action Plan, ridden by S. Foley, placed second, Ragmans Corner, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed third, Preparations, ridden by A.J. Slattery, placed fifth, Solar Drive, ridden by M.W Hassett, placed sixth, and Out On Friday, ridden by W. Joyce, placed first, where it appeared numerous horses came close together. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. M.W. Hassett stated that he received contact from his inside and clipped a heel with the horse on his outside. A.J. Slattery stated that he tried to hold his racing line for as long as he could but his mount was tiring. S. Foley stated that he was waiting for a gap to appear and slowly edged out when it did. C.T. Keane stated that he received a slight bump on his hind quarters. W. Joyce stated that he kept a straight line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action other than to advise S. Foley to ride with more patience if in a similar situation in future. Mr. Niall Rooney, Raceday Steward, recused himself from this enquiry.
