The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

The Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages involving Agartha, ridden by S.M. Crosse, placed third, Messa Concertata, ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed fifth and Viareggio, ridden by T.P. Madden, placed fourth, where it appeared that Messa Concertata got a bump and had to check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

At the request of the Stewards, C.T. Keane, rider of Laakhof, trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slowly into stride.

130C GAIN The Advantage Series H'cap

D.W. O'Connor, rider of Showmolina (GB) trained by J.F. Levins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stood in the stalls and ran short of room.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Hodd's Girl trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lugged right under pressure.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Conversant trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped left from the stalls.

L.T. McAteer, rider of No Speed Limit (FR) trained by Patrick J. McKenna, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped very quickly.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Only Jack trained by A. Kinsella, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got no run.

C.J. MacRedmond, rider of Chica Power trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped slowly.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Tullypole Annie trained by G.A. Kingston, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slow away.

At the request of the Stewards, C.T. Keane, rider of Gatwick Kitten (USA), trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got upset in the stalls, was slowly away and then had to wait for a run.

G.A. Kingston, trainer of Tullypole Annie, reported to the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer that his charge had lost its right fore shoe in running

130D Navan Racecourse M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Antumbra trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien was found to be a gelding and not a colt as shown on the passport presented. Having considered the report, the Stewards fined Joseph Patrick O'Brien €130 in accordance with the provisions of Rule 148(vi).

The Stewards fined A. Kinsella, trainer, €65 for failing to fit the declared headgear to Just Petey, prior to entering the parade ring.

W.J. Lee, rider of Princess Fifi trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was very slowly away.

The Stewards enquired into an incident going to the first bend involving Antumbra, ridden by G.P. Halpin, placed fourth, Mitigated Risk, ridden by O.J. Orr, unplaced, Point Nepean, ridden by S.M. Crosse, placed first and Xeres (GB), ridden by C.T. Keane, placed third, where it appeared that Antumbra got tight for room and Mitigated Risk clipped a heel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. G. P. Halpin stated that his mount was having it's first run and a combination of his mount not taking the bend well and the horse on his outside running short of room had caused the interference. O. J. Orr stated that he was happy to take back but still ran short of room and clipped a heel. S. M. Crosse stated that he felt a little pressure from his outside. C. T. Keane stated that he could see O. J. Orr taking back and crossed over. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that any interference caused was accidental and they took no further action.

130E Royal County H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Los Andes (USA) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

130F Irish Stallion Farms EBF Med Auc (F) Mdn

R.C. Colgan, rider of Annecherie trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slowly away.

130H NavanRacecourse.ie H'cap

W.T. Byrne, rider of Legal Thriller trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount suffered interference in the straight.

Annalise Cullen, rider of Maunganui trained by Denis W. Cullen, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount drifted left in the closing stages.

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Secret Wizard trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount ducked left out of the stalls. .

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Legal Thriller, ridden by W.T. Byrne, unplaced, Maunganui, ridden by Annalise Cullen, placed first and Power Of Lazarus, ridden by M.P. Sheehy, unplaced, where it appeared that Maunganui drifted left across the racing line of Legal Thriller and Power Of Lazarus. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W. T. Byrne stated that he suffered bad interference. M. P. Sheehy stated that he was badly hampered. Annalise Cullen stated that her mount drifted left and she could hear the riders on her inside shouting. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Annalise Cullen was in breach of Rule 214(v)(ii), in that she had ridden carelessly. Having considered Annalise Cullen's record in this regard the Stewards suspended Annalise Cullen for three racedays. Annalise Cullen was accompanied at this enquiry by Mrs. Annemarie Cullen. M. P. Sheehy was accompanied by Michael Mulvany at this enquiry.
