The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

S.F. O'Keeffe replaced C.J. Orr on Cailean's Angel, trained by Eamonn Francis Gallagher (Race 3)(injured).

252A Kerry Group 3-Y-O H'dle

At the request of the Stewards, J.S. McGarvey, rider of Sacchoandvanzetti, trained by John Queally, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his saddle slipped which caused him to loose both irons.

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Patchouli (GB) trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount made a bad mistake and was pulled up thereafter.

252B Kerrymaid H'dle

P. Townend, rider of Stratum (GB) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

252C Low Low Irish EBF (Mares) H'cap H'dle

The Stewards requested a report from G.T. Lynch, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Miss Mcilroy, placed first, as compared her previous run at Killarney on August 23rd, when finishing 10th of 16 finishers and was beaten by 31 lengths. The trainer reported that his charge had disappointed on her previous run in what was a tightly run race. He was of the opinion that his charge benefited from more racing room today and felt this may have contributed to the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

252D Charleville Cheese M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Rocks Of Bawnree (GB) trained by John Joseph Hanlon was found to have blood on both nostrils as a result of exercised induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Rocks Of Bawnree (GB) trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount burst and was pulled up thereafter.

252G Kerry Group INH Flat Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Casamari Abbey, trained by P.A.Fahy, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

Mr R. Deegan, rider of Casamari Abbey trained by P.A.Fahy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped very quickly.
