The Stewards requested a report from P.J.F. Murphy, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Angel Palanas (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that today's more favourable ground conditions had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

S. Foley, rider of Law Breaker trained by E. J. O'Grady, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran very free early on.

James J. Doyle, rider of Hell Left Loose (GB) trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got no luck in running.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Zarzyni trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was unable to handle the track.

257G Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Aunt Bee trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount failed to act on the ground.

M.A. Gallagher, rider of Galtee Mist trained by Joseph G. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount rolled around, clipped a heel and failed to act on the ground.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Stormy Belle trained by P.A.Fahy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was bumped turning in.
