128A Ballingarry Claiming H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Presenting Dylan trained by Mrs Denise Foster was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

128B1 Pallaskenry (Mares) M'dn H'dle

The Stewards fined Ruaidhri Joseph Tierney, trainer, €65 for failing to fit a hood to Lady Daye, prior to entering the parade ring.

R.P. Treacy, rider of Lady Daye trained by Ruaidhri Joseph Tierney, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a noise in running.

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Ms Gemma trained by Martin Hassett, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

128C2 Foynes H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Shackleton Island trained by K.A. Heffernan was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

The Stewards interviewed D. Meyler, rider of Central Court, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he had used his whip excessively and with force following a report from the I.H.R. B. Veterinary Officer. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that D. Meyler was in breach of both Regulation 10.3(f)(force) and 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record they suspended him for 3 racedays.

At the request of the Stewards, Mr B.G. Crawford, rider of Kinnegad Lad, trained by S.R.B. Crawford, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran with cheek pieces today and he was instructed to hold onto his mount for as long as possible as the animal has found nothing in the past. However, he stated that his mount still found nothing off the bridle.

128D RED MILLS EBF Auction M'dn H'dle

At the request of the Stewards, Mr P.A. King, rider of Kells Priory, trained by Louise G. Lyons, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a bad mistake at the first and missed the second, after which he got his mount to switch off and settle. He further added that his mount stayed on well in the home straight passed tired horses.

G.P. Brouder, rider of Highlander Casseul (FR) trained by J.G.Coogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly left.

128G Athea INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr B.G. Crawford, rider of Bellaney Lord, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he had failed to give his mount sufficient time to respond to the whip and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. B.G. Crawford was in breach of Regulation 10.3(i)(time to respond) and having considered his record they suspended him for 4 racedays.

128H Shanagolden M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Baltic Moon (GER), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard, coughing and lame behind post race.

D.E. Mullins, rider of Baltic Moon (GER), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made several jumping errors.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pikaia, trained by Mrs Denise Foster, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

C.F. Hart, rider of Karakhan trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung severely.

J.C. Gainford, rider of Pikaia trained by Mrs Denise Foster, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made mistakes at the first and second flight, was slow at the third, did not fell right thereafter and was pulled up.
