The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Gearoid Patrick Brouder, trainer of Clancy's Spirit (transport difficulties) - €200
Brian Francis Cawley, trainer of Ask Blossomfort (off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Ms. G. Benson replaced Mr L.J. McGuinness on Laffite, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 8)(unwell).
G.B. Noonan rode Grey Habit (reserve) trained by R.Donohoe (Race 2)
D. Meyler rode Sweet Will (reserve) trained by Gavin Cromwell (Race 3)
J.C. Gainford replaced J.B. Foley on Derridae, trained by Moses McCabe (Race 7)(stood down)

023B1 Limerick Racecourse H'cap H'dle

At the request of the Stewards, R.P. Treacy, rider of Owl Creek Bridge, trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount had a blow at the top of the hill and stayed on in the closing stages.

R. Deegan, rider of Be My Dream trained by J.R.Finn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right and jumped right.

The Stewards interviewed D.L. Queally, rider of Coconut Tudor, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he was in breach of Regulation 10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that D.L. Queally was in breach of Regulation 10.3.(g)(frequency) and having considered his record they suspended him for two race days.

023B2 Limerick Racecourse H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed D. Meyler rider of Sweet Will, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he was in breach of Regulation 10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, including photographic evidence from the I.H.R.B. Veterinary Officer, the Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of both Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and 10.3(f)(force). Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended D. Meyler for five racedays.

M.J. Molloy, rider of Missiee, trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his saddle slipped causing him to pull up.

023C BetVictor Opportunity (Mares) M'dn H'dle

E. Walsh, rider of Hunting Goodwill (GB) trained by David Harry Kelly, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount raced keen throughout.

023D Limerick On Twitter (C&G) M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined True Faith, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

P.K. Donovan, rider of To Dream (GB) trained by E. J. O'Grady, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost its action at the top of the hill and was pulled up thereafter.

023E1 BetVictor Loyalty Club Opp. H'cap H'dle

E. Walsh, rider of He'sthewon trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

Patrick Breen, trainer of Annie Iraya, reported to the I.H.R.B. Veterinary Officer, that his charge was coughing post race.
