The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

L. P. Dempsey rode Dromore Lad (reserve), trained by John Patrick Ryan (Race 6)
Mr. D. L. Queally replaced S.F. O'Keeffe on Merry Doyenne, trained by Declan Queally (Race 3)(Stewards peremission)

301A Bluegrass Horse Feed Novice H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Suprise Package (GB), trained by Peter Fahey, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal post race.

K.C. Sexton, rider of Suprise Package (GB) trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

301B PricewaterhouseCoopers M'dn H'dle

At the request of the Stewards, D.E. Mullins, rider of Alvaro (GB), trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was very keen early on and did not jump well throughout.

301C Irish EBF Cailin Alainn Mares Hdle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Darrens Hope, trained by Robert Murphy, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

301D David Fitzgerald Memorial H'cap H'dle

R.A. Doyle, rider of Wishmoor trained by J.F. Levins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly right throughout, made a very bad mistake and was pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mormon, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Karl Der Grosse (GER), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have sustained a bad injury to a fore leg.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Macgiloney, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis.

C.A. Landers, rider of Masterstonemason trained by F.Costello, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slow to jump off.

R. Deegan, rider of Notice To Close (GB) trained by Seamus Neville, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ducked left after the tape was released.

B. Hayes, rider of Karl Der Grosse (GER) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount struck into itself and was pulled up.

301F Follow Limerick On Insta H'cap S'chase

E. Walsh, rider of Magic Sea trained by Sarah Dawson, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped deliberate throughout.

301G Ladbrokes Munster National H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dinny Lacey, trained by J.Motherway, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

301H Follow Limerick Facebook INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr M. McGuane, rider of King Kali, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. M. McGuane was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered Mr. M. McGuane's record in this regard the Stewards suspended Mr. M. McGuane for one raceday.
