The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

C. J. Orr rode Charlie Stout (reserve) trained by Shane Nolan (Race 7)
D. F. O'Regan replaced M.P. O'Connor on Charli Parcs (FR), trained by Aidan Anthony Howard (Race 7)(unwell).

027C Ladbrokes Dublin S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Greaneteen (FR), trained by Paul Nicholls (in GB), at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have a graze on its left hind stifle but to be otherwise post race normal.

027D Bulmers Secret Leopardstown H'cap Schase

The Stewards interviewed J.M. Moore, rider of Foxy Jacks, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that J. M. Moore was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered J. M. Moore's record in this regard the Stewards suspended J. M. Moore for two racedays.

The Stewards interviewed S.D. Torrens, rider of Winter Escape, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that S. D. Torrens was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered S. D. Torrens' record in this regard the Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.

027G Liffey H'cap H'dle

The Stewards received a request from Aidan Anthony Howard, trainer of Charli Parcs (FR), to substitute the nominated rider M.P. O'Connor, with D. F. O'Regan, due to M. P. O'Connor being unwell. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that due to the large number of runners in this race and the lack of other claiming riders on the card, there was no suitable alternative and they allowed the substitution on this occasion.

027H Coolmore NH Sires EBF (M) INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr. B.G. Crawford, rider of Lily Du Berlais (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. B. G. Crawford was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered Mr. B. G. Crawford's record in this regard the Stewards suspended Mr. B. G. Crawford for four raceday.

The Stewards interviewed Mr D. O'Connor, rider of Battling Bessie (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the Regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Mr. D. O'Connor was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency. Having considered Mr. D. O'Connor's record in this regard the Stewards suspended Mr. D. O'Connor for three racedays.

Mr M. McGuane, rider of Monteip trained by Barry J. Fitzgerald, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made an abnormal respiratory noise turning in.

The Stewards interviewed Ms L. O'Neill, rider of Liberty Dance, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that she was in breach of the Regulation and apologised. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Ms. L. O'Neill was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g, excessive frequency and 10.3.i, time to respond. Having considered Ms. L. O'Neill's record in this regard the Stewards suspended Ms. L. O'Neill for two racedays.
