The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer of Prairie Dancer (off feed) - €200
James M. Barrett, trainer of Devious Dreamer (off feed) - €200
Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, trainer of Lugnaquilla (off feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J.A. Heffernan rode Itsnoteasyhi (reserve), trained by Gerard Keane (Race 2).
D.E. Sheehy rode Sweet Justice (reserve), trained by T.G. McCourt (Race 3).
M.A. Gallagher rode Figlio D'arte (reserve), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien (Race 3).

114A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

C.D. Hayes, rider of Mumayaz trained by Kevin Prendergast, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount had to switch off heels in the straight. Having viewed a recording of the incident and considered the matter the stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

114C1 Glenageary H'cap

G.M. Ryan, rider of Oneiroi trained by D. Buckley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left in the last furlong.

114C2 Glenageary H'cap

C.J. MacRedmond, rider of The Mpex Kid trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slowly away.

114E Saval Beg Levmoss Stks

Following a request from broadcasters, the Stewards granted permission for the following delays: race 6 +2 minutes.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Amhran Na Bhfiann, trained by A.P. O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal, samples were taken for analysis.

G.P. Halpin, rider of Springbank trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount met with interference turning out of the back straight and had to check of heels. Having viewed a recording of the incident and considered the matter the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

At the request of the Stewards, J.A. Heffernan, rider of Amhran Na Bhfiann, trained by A.P. O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was never comfortable throughout this race.

114F RACE Academy Apprentice H'cap

D. Browne McMonagle, rider of Melliferous trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount leaned left under pressure.

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Never Mistabeat trained by Jarlath P. Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped very quickly.

At the request from the handicapper, the Stewards received a report from J.A. Nash, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Little Brother, placed first , as compared with its recent runs at Gowran Park and Limerick. Mr. Nash stated that his charge did not seem to handle the ground on both occasions and the better ground today had helped to bring about the apperant improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given.
