The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Chitra (GB) trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien was found to have had blood at the nostrils post race.

D. McMonagle, rider of Arcanears trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount leaned right under pressure.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Praying Mantis, trained by Andrew Kinirons, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stumbled after 2 furlongs.

The Stewards interviewed M.A. Enright, rider of Hell Left Loose (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he had used his whip to straighten his mount, however he accepted that he had used his whip excessively. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that M.A. Enright was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g) (excessive frequency), and having considered his record cautioned him on this occasion.

The Stewards interviewed D.G. Hogan, rider of Anjah, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that D.G. Hogan was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g) (frequency). Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended D.G. Hogan for 2 race days. .

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Able Jack (GB) trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right in the last 50 yards when he hit the front.

The Stewards interviewed J.M. Sheridan, rider of Able Jack (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he had used his whip excessively, and that he had used his whip to keep his mount straight. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that J.M. Sheridan was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g) (excessive frequency). Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended J.M. Sheridan for 2 race days.
