The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

Gearoid O'Loughlin, trainer of Jampot Lane (transport difficulties) - €200.
S. Curling, trainer of Derryville (off feed) - €200.

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

S.D. Torrens rode On The Banks (reserve) trained by Robert Tyner (Race 6).

201B Killarney Grand (Mares) M'dn H'dle

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Dermot P. O'Brien, trainer of Annie Hope Harriet, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Veterinary Officer in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from E Seymour, trainer of Cappaho, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Veterinary Officer in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).

R. Deegan, rider of Kilmore Coral, trained by S. Curling, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was brought down by the faller.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Amboyna, trained by John E. & Thomas Kiely, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have a wound on its right hind stifle but was otherwise post race normal.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Amboyna, trained by John E. & Thomas Kiely, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a couple of novicey mistakes.

D.J Gilligan, rider of Jetaway Nana, trained by Cian Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

201C Lee Strand H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Zoffanien, trained by Terence O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal post race.

201D BoyleSports Daily Money Back H'cap S'ch

The Raceday Stewards interviewed H.E. Sexton, rider of Gaelic Arc, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who was unsure if the last strike connected and also said most of the strikes were for corrective purposes. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his clean record, they suspended him for two racedays.

201E Lee Strand Novice S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Amanha (FR) trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin was lame post race.

K.E Buckley, rider of Aspurofthemoment, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a mistake at the last with a circuit to go and didn't travel afterwards.

P.J. O'Hanlon, rider of Amanha (FR), trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up lame after the line.

201F1 Europe Hotel And Resort H'cap S'chase

The Raceday Stewards informed D.McNamara, trainer of Kingston Coole, that a repeat performance of his charge, who was reluctant to leave the parade ring and very slow to race once the tape was let go, may render the animal liable for suspension in future.

G. Brouder, rider of Kingston Coole, trained by D.McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was very slow to jump off.

201F2 Europe Hotel And Resort H'cap S'chase

The Raceday Stewards fined E. McNamara, trainer €65 for fitting cheek pieces to Meehall which had not been declared and ordered it’s removal.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from Mr. H.T. Hynes, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Yorkshire Escape, weighed in at 1.9lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated he was covered in kickback coming back in. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his clean record, they suspended him for one raceday.
