The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the final furlong involving Gun Carriage (USA), ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed first and Standard Deviation, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed second where it appeared that contact was made. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W.M. Lordan stated that he received a bump from his right causing his mount to become unbalanced, which caused him to roll out slightly. W.J.Lee stated that his mount leaned left and was looking for company. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and were satisfied that no further action was warranted. Mr. C. Murphy recused himself from this enquiry.
N.M. Crosse, rider of Master Of Puppets (FR), trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen early on.
W.J. Lee, rider of Standard Deviation, trained by P. Twomey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled slightly left under pressure.
119B Irish Stallion Farms EBF (F) RaceW.J. Lee, rider of Iowa City (FR), trained by P. Twomey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left up the home straight.
119C Outlook Publications M'dnM.W Hassett, rider of Light On His Feet, trained by Terence O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung slightly left in the home straight.
119D Donnie Broderick's Plumbing H'capThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the run to the first bend involving Saith Seren (GB), ridden by J.A. Heffernan, unplaced, Jurality (GB), ridden by D. McMonagle, placed fourth, and Dazzling Spirit, ridden by C.T. Keane, unplaced, where Saith Seren (GB) appeared to be running keen and shifted right, making contact with Jurality (GB) and Dazzling Spirit. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
S. Foley, rider of Haeret In Pectore, trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount became unbalanced on the home bend.
119E Brehon Hotel H'capThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident where it appeared that Ice Jet, ridden by N.M. Crosse, placed fourth, and Sottsands, ridden by Adam Caffrey, had to sit for a few strides approaching the final furlong. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
S. Foley, rider of Refreshment, trained by Mark Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that things became a slightly congested in the home straight.
Adam Caffrey, rider of Sottsands, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had no luck in running.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident as the runners turned into the home straight, involving Refreshment, ridden by S. Foley, placed sixth, and Sottsands, ridden by Adam Caffrey, unplaced, where it appeared that they came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
119F FEXCO H'capThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined The Banger Doyle, trained by John Queally, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
A.J. Slattery, rider of Dark Note (GB), trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount became upset in the stalls.
