The Stewards interviewed Miss E. Cody, rider of Halsafari, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Miss Cody accepted that she was in breach of Regulation 10 and apologised for her actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Miss Cody was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) (frequency) and having considered her record, they suspended her for 2 racedays.

Miss M. O'Sullivan, rider of Hoke Colburn trained by Brian M. McMahon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount burst a blood vessel and this was subsequently confirmed by the I.H.R.B. Veterinary Officer.

Miss J. Walton, rider of The Great White trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount stopped quickly.

362C EasyFix Equine H'cap S'chase

The Stewards interviewed P.J. Carberry, rider of Sil Ver Klass (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday found Mr. Carberry in breach of both Regulation 10.3(g) frequency and Regulation 10.3(i) time to respond and having considered his record, the Stewards suspended him for one raceday.

P. Townend, rider of Fan De Blues (FR) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a few mistakes.

The I.H.R.B. Veterinary Officer examined Fan De Blues (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be mildly distressed post race.

D.N. Russell, rider of The Four Sixes trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran very freely.

The I.H.R.B. Veterinary Officer examined Derrylinda, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be coughing.

The I.H.R.B. Veterinary Officer examined The Four Sixes, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J.C. Gainford, rider of Boothen Boy trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran very keenly.

Derek McGrath, rider of Minella Escape trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount struck into himself.

The Stewards interviewed Miss E.J. Sweeney, rider of Attaboyarchie, concerning her use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that she was in breach of Regulation 10. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Miss Sweeney was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g) (frequency) and having considered her record, they suspended her for 2 racedays.
