The Stewards interviewed Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Adams Barbour, concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted she had used her whip excessively. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Siobhan Rutledge was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency). Having considered her record in this regard and pursuant to R10.6(a) the Stewards suspended Siobhan Rutledge for 6 racedays.

M.A. Enright, rider of Royal Tribute trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.

The Stewards interviewed P.A. Harnett, rider of Timourid, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted he was in breach of Regulation 10. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that P.A. Harnett was in breach of R10.3(g) and having considered his record in this regard they suspended him for 2 racedays.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined War Hero, trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Eglish (GB), trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount clipped a heel after approximately two furlongs as a result of running free. Subsequently the Stewards reviewed the footage and took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined No Nay Alexander, trained by J.P. Murtagh, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis.

W. Joyce, rider of Ellabella trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Malaysian trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran short of room in the straight.

The Stewards fined Eoin Doyle, trainer €65 for failing to fit the declared cheek pieces to Bella Coaster, prior to entering the parade ring.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Colonel Slade, trained by Gillian Scott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have an overreach on its left fore.

The Stewards interviewed P.A. Harnett, rider of Helen De Pourtales, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Stewards were satisfied that P.A. Harnett was in breach of Rule 211(a) and having considered his record in this regard, they suspended him for 2 racedays.

J. Kearney, rider of Benkogambit, trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stood in the stalls once to gates opened.

The Stewards informed Patrick Martin, trainer that a repeat performance of Benkogambit, who stood in stalls in this race may render the animal liable for suspension in future.

The Stewards interviewed W. Joyce, rider of Briseuse De Coeur, concerning the fact that he appeared to move across before reaching the marker poles. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered evidence from the rider, the Stewards were satisfied that W. Joyce was in breach of Rule 211(a) and having considered his record in this regard, they suspended him for 1 raceday.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mna Na Mhi, trained by Patrick Martin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

The Stewards received a request from D.J. Bunyan, trainer of Dreams Delivered, to substitute the nominated rider J.A. Powell, with R.P. Cleary, due to J.A. Powell being stood down. Maria Kelly, Authorised representative for the trainer, stated that the horse is a big awkward horse who is a difficult ride and she struggled to find a suitable like for like rider. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards allowed the request on this occasion.

M.A. Gallagher, rider of Shazza trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped right out of the stalls.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving House Of Kings, ridden by P.A. Harnett, placed second, Dreams Delivered, ridden by R.P. Cleary, unplaced, Super Proud (GB), ridden by Siobhan Rutledge, placed fifth, and Kingslayer (FR), ridden by D. King, placed first, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P.A. Harnett stated that he received two bumps inside the final furlong. R.P. Cleary stated that he didn't received any interference. Siobhan Rutledge stated that she received slight interference as Kingslayer came across her racing line. D. King stated that his horse hung right in the straight but in his opinion he was always going to win. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that while Kingslayer had caused interference he did not improve his finishing position as a result of this interference so they made no alteration to the Judge’s placings. They were, however, of the opinion that D. King, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record in this regard the Stewards suspended him for 2 racedays.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dinamine, trained by David Peter Dunne, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race. Subsequently it was reported by the trainer to the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer that on an endoscopic examination the animal had blood in it trachea as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Wild Shot (GB), trained by John C. McConnell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be badly struck into on its left hind hock.

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Magi Gal trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount missed the break and was slowly away as a result.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Here's Hoping, trained by Tracey Collins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. The trainer reported to the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer that the animal changed leads numerous times in the straight.
