The Stewards requested a report from G.M.Lyons, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of My Laureate, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Shane Lyons, Authorised Representative for G.M. Lyons, reported that his charge benefits from quick ground and referred to My Laureate's previous run which was on yielding ground. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

The Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving the stalls involving New Treasure, ridden by K.J. Manning, Steel Bull, ridden by L.F. Roche, Chief Little Hawk (USA), ridden by P.B. Beggy, The Blue Panther, ridden by G.F. Carroll, Dickiedooda, ridden by T.P. Madden, Frenetic, ridden by C.T. Keane and Dense Star, ridden by S.M. Crosse, where it appeared that New Treasure and Dickiedooda ran short of room and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that any interference was accidental in nature and they therefore took no further action.

S.M. Crosse, rider of Dense Star trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran short of room after a furlong.

273E Irish Stallion Farms EBF StarAppeal Stks

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Deputy Sandy, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

C.P. Hoban, rider of Deputy Sandy, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran very disappointingly.

D. McMonagle, rider of Chagall trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right up the straight.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Royal Scholar, ridden by C.D. Hayes, Gormanston, ridden by R.C. Colgan, Wisaka, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, Rotokura (GB), ridden by James J. Doyle and New York Ballet, ridden by D. McMonagle, where it appeared that Wisaka ran short of room and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that any interference appeared to be accidental in nature and they therefore took no further action.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Wisaka trained by Adrian Murray, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly right in the straight.

James J. Doyle, rider of Rotokura (GB) trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung both ways up the straight.

D. McMonagle, rider of New York Ballet trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount reared up leaving the stalls.

W.J. Lee, rider of Jackmel trained by Kevin Michael Smith, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount drifted right in the last furlong.

273G HOLLYWOODBETS H'cap

C.T. Keane, rider of Marchons Ensemble (GB), trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that he used his whip once in front of the saddle in the forehand position for corrective purposes when his mount began to lean.

W.J. Lee, rider of Creationist (USA) trained by K.J. Condon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount didn't get a clear run in the straight.
