The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

The Stewards enquired into an incident rounding the first bend involving Edessann, ridden by M.P. Sheehy, unplaced, Eglish (GB), ridden by B.M. Coen, placed fourth and Macocha, ridden by D. McMonagle, placed third, where it appeared interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards could apportion no blame to any individual rider and took no further action.

D. McMonagle, rider of Macocha trained by Edward P.Harty, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount received pressure down the back from his outside.

M.A. Gallagher, rider of Keepyourdistance trained by Edward P.Harty, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was bumped after about a furlong and a half.

The Stewards enquired into an incident on the approach to the first bend involving Keepyourdistance, ridden by M.A. Gallagher, unplaced, Ablah (USA), ridden by A.J. Farragher, placed fourth and I've Got Wings (GB), ridden by James J. Doyle, unplaced, where it appeared interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards could apportion no blame to any individual rider and took no further action.

S. Foley, rider of Soaring Sky trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran very green and ducked sharply left.

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Always Waitin (USA) trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was forced to check in the straight.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Always Waitin (USA), ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed fourth and Soaring Sky, ridden by S. Foley, placed first, where it appeared interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Stewards interviewed J.A. Powell, rider of Sebs Star (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action. Mr. P.D. Matthews, Acting Steward, absented himself from this enquiry.

The Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages involving Hotspur Harry, ridden by S.M. Crosse, placed fifth and Astadash, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed fourth. Having viewed the recording of the incident, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Stewards interviewed L.T. McAteer, rider of Josephina, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(h)(arm above shoulder height). Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended L.T. McAteer for 8 racedays.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Josephina trained by Anthony Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Astadash trained by Kevin Prendergast, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was denied a clear run.

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Drakensberg trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount took a check in running.

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Magi Gal trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount missed the break.

The Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages where it appeared that Drakensberg, ridden by J.A. Heffernan was checked in running. Having viewed the recording of the incident, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
