The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Julie McDonald rode Kendred Soul (reserve), trained by P.J.F. Murphy (Race 2).

G.M. Ryan replaced R.P. Cleary on Dubirango, trained by F.Birrane (Race 7)(Stewards permission)
G.M. Ryan replaced R.P. Cleary on Polar Peak, trained by P.A.Fahy (Race 8)(Stewards permission)

314A HOLLYWOODBETS (Fillies) Claiming Race

S. Foley, rider of Malaysian trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left under pressure.

W.J. Lee, rider of Even Flow trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped left out of stalls, leaned left in the straight and was tight for room in the last furlong. The Stewards subsequently reviewed the incident and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Sentiment trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was tight for room leaving the stalls.

The Stewards interviewed Conor Clarke, rider of Lord Mczie, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned,who stated he thought his mount was closing in on the front horses and was going to finish in the placings. He accepted that he was in breach of the Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that Conor Clarke was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 1 raceday.

D. McMonagle, rider of Baronial Pride (GB) trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount rolled around a little bit under pressure.

Tracey Collins, trainer of Noirvento, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her charge was coughing post race.

The Stewards reviewed an incident turning out of the back straight involving Manhattan Dandy, ridden by R. Whearty, unplaced and Mienvee Flyer (GB), ridden by Siobhan Rutledge, unplaced, where it appeared Mienvee Flyer got slightly tight for room. Having viewed a recoding of the incident and considered the matter the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Stewards requested a report from James McAuley, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Beleaguerment, placed first, as compared with its recent form. James McAuley, stated that his charge got no cover from a bad draw, was stacked out wide and ran far too keen on its most recent run on the 15th of October. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

The Stewards reviewed an incident a furlong down involving Urban Beat, ridden by B.M. Coen, unplaced, Dandalla, ridden by G.M. Ryan, placed fifth and Stormy Girl, ridden by W.J. Lee, unplaced, where it appeared that Stormy Girl ran short of room between horses. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

314E Crowne Plaza Hotel Dundalk Nursery H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Memory Motel (GB), trained by J.A.Stack, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Chris's Rose (GB) trained by Liam McAteer, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel in running. The I.H.R.B. Veterinary Officer confirmed that Chris's Rose had blood at his nostrils post race.

314F Irish EBF Median Sires Series M'dn

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Montenegro, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, unplaced, Capo La Gala (GB), ridden by W.M. Lordan, unplaced, Swing Point (CAN), ridden by A.J. Slattery, placed third and Queens Command, ridden by S.P. Davis, unplaced, where it appeared the horses from the inside rolled out towards the middle of the track. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J. A Heffernan, stated that his mount was coming with a late challenge when the horses from his inside appeared to roll out across him. W.M. Lordan, stated that his mount shifted slightly right away from the horse on his inside. S.P. Davis, stated his mount was carried to the right by the horse on his inside. A. J. Slattery, stated that his mount had a look at the paddock gate in the straight and shifted slightly right. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that any interference that was caused was accidental in nature and took no further action.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Desert Wave (GB) trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slowly away from the starting stalls and stopped quickly.

M.A. Gallagher, rider of Gracesolution trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung right and ran green.

W.J. Lee, rider of Stay Thinking trained by T.Hogan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount caught a heel about a mile from home.
