311D(ii) Irishinjuredjockeys.com H'cap (Division Two)The Stewards received a report from Mr. Liam Walsh, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Vanessa Maye, rider of Courtney Crimson, had presented herself to weigh out at 2 lbs overweight, which was not declared. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that this was the case. Having considered the evidence and consulted with the trainer the stewards allowed the overweight on this occasion. Furthermore, the Stewards were satisfied that Vanessa Maye was in breach of Rule 195(i) and Rule 198 (vii). Having considered Vanessa Maye's record in this regard the stewards fined Vanessa Maye €150 on this occasion. Vanessa Maye was accompanied by Mr. Philip M. Byrne, trainer, at this enquiry.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Aisteoir, trained by J. S. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.
The Stewards informed David Geraghty, trainer, that Sally Gap would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.
311F Dundalk - Light Up Your Night H'capR.P. Cleary, rider of Never Back Down trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was badly hampered after leaving the stalls.
Dylan Browne McMonagle, rider of Mr Scarlet (GB), trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount reared leaving the stalls.
311G Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk H'capThe Stewards interviewed G.P. Halpin, rider of Divine Approach, concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found G. P. Halpin in breach of Regulation 10.3(g), frequency. Having considered G. P. Halpin's record in this regard the stewards suspended G. P. Halpin for two racedays
