The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Shabaaby (GB), trained by J.F. Levins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have a graze just below the left nostril, possibly from striking the inside of the starting stalls.

M.P. Sheehy, rider of Mna Na Mhi, trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount moved badly inside the final furlong.

J.F. Levins, trainer of Shabaaby (GB), reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge banged his head in the starting stalls.

035B Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Lily Maguire, trained by W. McCreery, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Noted were two grazes on the outside of the left hind cannon area.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Almendares (GB), trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got pressure from his outside when rounding the bend.

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Daonethatgotaway (GB), trained by Mark Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled during this race.

D.W. O'Connor, rider of Redshore City, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was snatched up rounding the bend.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Goldmile, trained by James M. Barrett, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly hampered after three furlongs.

W.J. Lee, rider of Lily Maguire, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received heavy pressure from the outside when rounding the bend causing her to interfere with Goldmile which was on her inner.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the bend before the turn into the straight involving Almendares (GB), ridden by A.J. Slattery, placed second, Goldmile, ridden by L.T. McAteer, unplaced, Lily Maguire, ridden by W.J. Lee, unplaced, and Memorial Verse, ridden by C.D. Hayes, unplaced, where it appeared that Almendares (GB), Goldmile and Lily Maguire all received pressure from their outside. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, L.T. McAteer stated that his mount was travelling well when the riders outside him shouted but it was too late and he had to take back when badly hampered. W.J. Lee stated that his mount was tightened from his outer despite riders shouting. A.J. Slattery stated that he was three off the rails when he got pressure from Memorial Verse (C.D. Hayes) who was racing on his outer and at that time he was aware that he had two riders on his inner who were shouting. C.D. Hayes stated that his mount was a difficult ride with a soft mouth and at the time of the incident, the filly changed leads on the bend and being aware of the horses on his inner he tried to drag her off them. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found that C.D. Hayes was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly. Having considered his record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended C.D. Hayes for one raceday. Mr. R. McSharry, Raceday Steward, recused himself from this enquiry.

035C Crowne Plaza Dundalk Race & Stay H'cap

L.F. Roche, rider of Okyle Lass, trained by Rodger Sweeney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stood in the starting stalls when the gates opened.

Ciaran Murphy, trainer of Little Keilee, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his charge was noted to be in season post race.

035D Racing TV Club Day H'cap

Sorcha Woods, rider of Linus Larrabee, trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount was slowly away from the starting stalls.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed R. Whearty, rider of Scarlet Dancer, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, R. Whearty accepted that he appeared to have breached the whip guidelines for frequency. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that R. Whearty was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Raceday Stewards suspended R. Whearty for two racedays.

035E DundalkStadium.com M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Wrecking Ball Paul, trained by Paul Mulligan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Wrecking Ball Paul, trained by Paul Mulligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled hard during this race.

L.F. Roche, rider of Firm Belief, trained by Rodger Sweeney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount missed the break from the starting stalls.

035F Dundalk Winter Series Championship H'cap

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Autocrat, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got bumped one furlong from the finish.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident about one furlong from the finish involving Autocrat, ridden by J.M. Sheridan, placed first, and Monophonic, ridden by J. Kearney, placed third, where it appeared that Autocrat received interference when Monophonic made an outward manoeuvre to challenge. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence, J.M. Sheridan stated that Monophonic needed room and made an outward manoeuvre causing a little bump between the two horses. J. Kearney stated that he had nowhere to go and had to switch out off heels but his mount ran around despite he carrying his whip in his right hand. He further added that he was aware that Autocrat was on his outer at that time. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found that J. Kearney was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly. Having considered his clean record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards cautioned J. Kearney on this occasion. Ian Kearney accompanied J. Kearney at this enquiry.

035H Dundalk Stadium M'dn

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, S.M. Crosse, rider of Hat Toss, trained by Takashi Kodama, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount had been sprinting in the past and he deliberately kept him wide to try and settle him but the leaders came back to him and his own mount only stayed on one paced without quickening. .
