Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a two minute delay to this race

050B Crowne Plaza Dundalk Race & Stay H'cap

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Thomas Dowling, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Mullacash Buzz, placed first, as compared with its recent run at Dundalk on the 18th January when finishing ninth of thirteen runners to the winner Iva Feeling (GB). Thomas Dowling reported that his charge had been dropped 3 lbs since his last run and this allowed him to run tonight in a 47-65 handicap which was a drop in grade of race. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

050C Dundalk Winter Series Apprentice H'cap

J.A. Powell, rider of Maralinga, trained by Timothy Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout this race.

050D View Restaurant At Dundalk Stadium H'cap

C.D. Hayes, rider of Kings Prince (GB), trained by Eamonn O'Connell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was a little bit keen during this race.

050E Book Online @ DundalkStadium.com M'dn

The Raceday Stewards received a report from Mr Andrew Tyrrell, IHRB Veterinary Officer, in relation to the identification details of The Mighty One, trained by Luke Comer, which stated that this animal was a gelding which on examination was noted to be a colt. James Gorman, Authorised representative of Luke Comer, stated that he was unable to explain what had caused this error without firstly reverting to his racing office. Having considered all the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Luke Comer was in breach of Rule 148 and fined him €130.

J.A. Powell, rider of Letiza, trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the starting stalls.

050G Floodlit Friday Nights At Dundalk H'cap

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Nine Tales, trained by Ray Hackett, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount took a false step about one and a half furlongs from the finish.

W.J. Lee, rider of Ghumama, trained by James McAuley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount fly leaped as the starting stalls opened.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, W.M. Lordan, rider of Highland King, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount turned into the straight in a good position travelling well, levelled out and did not quicken when asked for his effort.
