S. Foley, rider of Millisle trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was badly intimidated inside the final furlong.
The Stewards enquired into possible interference about 200 yards from the finish involving Millisle, ridden by S. Foley, placed second, Think Big, ridden by R.C. Colgan, placed first and True Motion, ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed fourth, where it appeared that True Motion ran short of room when racing between horses. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings and took no further action.
The Stewards enquired into possible interference inside the final 75 yards involving Millisle, ridden by S. Foley, placed second and Think Big, ridden by R.C. Colgan, placed first, where it appeared that Millisle ran short of room when racing close to the running rail and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings and took no further action.
200B Magners Dark Fruit H'capThe Stewards enquired into an incident about one furlong from the finish involving Teddy Boy, ridden by O.J. Orr, placed seventh (dead heat) and Guiding Star (GB), ridden by A.J. Farragher, placed fourth, where it appeared that Guiding Star(GB) in manoeuvering outwards may have caused Teddy Boy to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was caused by A.J. Farragher riding carelessly, this being a breach of Rule 214. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended A.J. Farragher for 2 racedays.
C.T. Keane, rider of Ty Rock Brandy trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was checked after two furlongs and got no run thereafter.
S. Foley, rider of Pillar (GB) trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slowly away from stalls.
C.D. Hayes, rider of Gala N Dandy trained by S.M.Duffy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got no clear run at anytime during this race.
200C Magners Irish Cider H'capAt the request of the Stewards, P.A. Harnett, rider of Dandyman Port, trained by D. Donovan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount dwelt when the stalls opened.
At the request of the Stewards, C.D. Hayes, rider of Master Matt (GB), trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount reared up when the stalls opened and was slowly away.
Edward Lynam, trainer of Dapper Power, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge burst a blood vessel during this race
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dapper Power, trained by Edward Lynam, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal was found to have blood on the nose as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.
200F Magners Rose Apprentice H'capP.A. Harnett, rider of Every Breath trained by S.Wilson, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped after one and a half furlongs.
200G Outcider By Magners H'capAt the request of the Stewards, A.J. Slattery, rider of The Lady's Bid, trained by P.M.Rogers, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount clipped heels independently and unseated him with no blame attached to any other horse or rider. C D Hayes rider of Manard confirmed A J Slattery's account of the incident. Having viewed the video of the incident the Stewards took no action. .
