The Stewards enquired into possible interference on the final bend having jumped the last hurdle involving Patrick Joseph (GB), ridden by K. Brogan, placed second and So Enjoy, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe, placed third, where it appeared that So Enjoy checked off heels when Patrick Joseph (GB) made a manoeuvre towards the rails. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings. Furthermore, they were of the opinion that the interference was caused by K. Brogan riding carelessly, this being a breach of Rule 214. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended K. Brogan for 2 racedays.
The Stewards fined Gordon Elliott, trainer, €65 for failing to fit blinkers to Cats For Cash, prior to entering the parade ring.
C.D. Maxwell, rider of Heather Blossom trained by Sarah Dawson, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left and jumped left during this race.
The Stewards interviewed K. Brogan, rider of Patrick Joseph (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that K. Brogan was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended K. Brogan for 2 racedays.
237B Ulster Carpets H'cap H'dleThe Stewards wished to interview A.W. Short, rider of Solar Heat, concerning his frequent use of the whip during this race. A.W. Short accepted that he had three previous breaches of R10(3) since the new whip Regulations came into effect. Having considered the rider's acceptance of his disciplinary record in relation to R10(3), the Stewards pursuant to R10(6) referred the matter to the Referrals Committee for consideration

Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that T. Ryan was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended T. Ryan for 3 racedays.

D.E. Mullins, rider of Da Baba Elephant trained by Ronan M.P. McNally, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake with a circuit to complete.
237G Hannontravel Best Dressed INH Flat RaceThe Stewards interviewed Mr J.W. Kenny, rider of Ya Boy Ya, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr J.W. Kenny was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency and R10(3)(i) by using his whip without allowing his mount at least three strides to respond. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended Mr J.W. Kenny for 7 racedays and instructed him to attend R.A.C.E for one days tuition on the correct use of the whip.
Ms L. O'Neill, rider of Home And Away trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount was lame on completion of this race.
