The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

164A Adare Manor Opportunity M'dn H'dle

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident turning into the home straight involving Cinammon Roll (FR), ridden by C.P. Millar, placed first and Keep Kool Coko (FR), ridden by T. Ryan, placed third, where it appeared Keep Kool Coko (FR) ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.P. Millar stated that he accepted contact was made but felt he had maintained his racing line. T. Ryan stated that he felt contact from Cinammon Roll (FR). Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found C.P. Millar, was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed K. Callaghan, rider of Full Confession, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that K. Callaghan was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (second offence), they suspended him for four racedays.

164B Randox M'dn H'dle

B.W. Harvey, rider of Jessie's Dreamgirl, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped very quickly and pulled up.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed F. Brickley, rider of Bowensonfire (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and stated that he had miscounted. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that F. Brickley was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for five racedays.

164E Dunlop Homes Rated Novice H'dle

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from A.J.Martin, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Bruant (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form. A.J.Martin attributed the apparent improvement in form to being that his charge was brought down three runs ago and has since regained confidence. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its contents.

164F Cab Plant H'cap H'dle

B.W. Harvey, rider of Live To Laugh, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount found nothing off the bridle.

164G Irish EBF (Mares) (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards granted permission for Walks The Talk, to run in accordance with the provision of Rule 90(v) as positive identification could be made but there were discrepancies in the markings as recorded in the Passport. The Trainer shall have 30 days to update the passport to the satisfaction of an IHRB Veterinary Officer/Assistant.
