The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

M.D. O'Callaghan, trainer of Johan Zoffani (declared in error) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

O. Murphy replaced James J. Doyle on Mokhalad (GB), trained by Damian Joseph English (Race 6)(Stewards permission, intended mount a non runner)

242D TRM Stride H'cap

M.Halford, trainer of Arcanears, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge was struck into in running about three furlongs from the finish.

The Stewards interviewed Mrs Denise Foster, trainer of Sun Sign, concerning the conduct of her charge who arrived late to the start causing a delay to the off time of this race. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned, who accepted that this was the case and apologised for the inconvenience caused. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the explanation offered on this occasion.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Twenty Minutes (GB) trained by Damian Joseph English was found to be lame after the animal was withdrawn at the start.

242F Tote Irish Cambridgeshire

S. Foley, rider of Onlyhuman trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never let himself down on the ground.

242G Curragh Rose Of Tralee Apprentice H'cap

The Stewards fined P.J.F. Murphy, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Able Jack (GB), in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Able Jack (GB) in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90.

Vanessa Maye, rider of Out On Friday, trained by Philip M. Byrne, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that her mount clipped a heel and stumbled.

242H Paddy Power Amateur Derby (QR) Hcap

The Stewards interviewed Mr R. Deegan, rider of Moktamel, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stage of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr. R. Deegan was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they cautioned him on this occasion.
