G.M. Ryan, rider of Rocky Dreams (GB) trained by Leanne Breen, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped after the two furlong marker.

The Stewards enquired into possible interference after the junction of the tracks about two and a half furlongs from the finish involving Diderot (GB), ridden by C.T. Keane, unplaced, Coins Cross, ridden by K.J. Manning, unplaced and Aloysius Lilius, ridden by S. Foley, unplaced where it appeared that Diderot (GB) checked when racing close to the running rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence C.T. Keane stated that he was riding to take his time but the field came back quickly at the junction of the tracks and he checked for a stride having run short of room. S. Foley stated that Coins Cross was avoiding another runner coming back in the field and his own mount exaggerated what was happening by moving to the right. K.J. Manning stated that Shikoko came back quickly and he had to take off his heels. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that any interference was accidental in nature and took no further action.

S. Foley, rider of Aloysius Lilius, trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported at a Stewards enquiry that his mount leaned at the junction of the tracks.

The Stewards enquired into an incident inside the final furlong involving Rocky Dreams (GB), ridden by G.M. Ryan, unplaced, Prince Of Peace, ridden by D.E. Sheehy, unplaced and Valhalla's Dream, ridden by A.C. Persse, unplaced, where it appeared that Prince Of Peace ran short of room and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence D.E. Sheehy stated that his mount was in full rhythm about one and a half furlongs out when a gap appeared but he could find no more to take it and he took back out when the gap closed. G.M. Ryan stated that he went the inside of Valhalla's Dream when he edged left but that animal switched back to the right leaving him tight for room but not having to take back. A.C. Persse stated that his mount was wearing blinkers for the first time and ran around when tiring about one and a half furlongs out. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.

Having taken her previous record into consideration and pursuant to R10(6)(a) the Stewards suspended Nikita Amelia Kane for nine racedays and also referred her to R.A.C.E for one days tuition on the correct use of the whip.
