D.P. McDonogh, rider of Longclaw (USA) trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount checked at half way.
The Stewards enquired into an incident at the four furlong marker involving Geometrical, ridden by K.J. Manning and Longclaw (USA), ridden by D.P. McDonogh, where it appeared that longclaw ran short of room and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the incident was accidental in nature and took no further action other than to remind K. J. Manning of his responsibilities under Rule 213 to report anything which might affect the running of his horse in a race.
192B Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'capThe Stewards enquired into possible interference approaching the finish line involving Crafty Madam, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed second, Waitingfortheday, ridden by D. O'Brien, placed first and Leagan Gaeilge, ridden by K.J. Manning, placed third, where it appeared Leagan Gaeilge ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the stewards made no alteration to the Judges placings, however they were of the opinion that W. J. Lee was in breach of rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard they cautioned W. J. Lee.
192C Tote Scurry H'capThe Stewards interviewed L.Dettori, rider of Intisaab (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found L. Dettori in breach of Regulation 10.3(g), in that he used his whip with excessive frequency and having considered his record in this regard they cautioned him on this occasion.
S. Foley, rider of Brick By Brick trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never let himself down on the ground.
192E Paddy Power Minstrel StakesThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Hey Gaman (GB) trained by James Tate (in GB) was found to have lost a right front shoe in running.
192F Kerrygold Irish OaksThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Iridessa, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
192G Kildare Village Ladies Derby H'capThe Stewards fined Gordon Elliott, trainer, €65 for failing to fit the correct head gear to Ingenuity (GB), prior to entering the parade ring.
The Stewards interviewed Miss L.A. Hourigan, rider of Moonmeister, concerning her use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found Miss L. A. Hourigan in breach of Regulation 10.3(g), in that she used her whip with excessive frequency, and having considered her record in this regard suspended her for 4 racedays.
The Stewards wished to speak to D.K. Budds, trainer of Here for the craic, regarding the refusal of his charge to start in this race. As D.K. Budds failed to respond to requests to attend the Stewards' room, the Stewards referred the matter to the Referrals Committee for further investigation.
192H Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dnThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mother Vincent, trained by J. S. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
R.P. Whelan, rider of Take Silk trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action in the last furlong .
