N.M. Crosse, rider of Miss Jabeam trained by Aidan Anthony Howard, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped on leaving the starting stalls.
C.D. Hayes, rider of North Wind trained by Damian Joseph English, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left under pressure.
A.J. Slattery, rider of Eclipse Storm (GB) trained by J.A.Stack, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got upset in the starting stalls, jumped out slowly and did not participate thereafter.
261B Moyglare "Jewels" Blandford StakesThe Stewards enquired into possible interference inside the final furlong involving Credenza, ridden by D. O'Brien, placed third and Tarnawa, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed first, where it appeared that Credenza ran short of room and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Tarnawa had not improved her placing over Credenza in causing interference and made no alteration to the Judges placings. The Stewards further considered the interference to be accidental in nature and took no further action
261C Derrinstown Stud Flying Five StakesThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Soffia (GB), trained by Edward Lynam, at the request of the Stewards and reported that the animal was found to have blood on the nose as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage.
D.P. McDonogh, rider of Soffia (GB) trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel during this race.
261D Moyglare Stud StakesMrs John Harrington, trainer of Albigna, reported to the Office of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board on Wedneday 18th September that her charge was found to be in season when examined on Monday 16th September.
S. Foley, rider of Albigna trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount shied away from the winner when being passed by her
C.T. Keane, rider of Soul Search, trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost her coordination behind and rolled around in the latter stages but finished her race with full coordination.
J.A. Heffernan, rider of So Wonderful (USA), trained by A.P.O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount received some interference in the latter stages and was checked back onto the bridle and finished in that manner.
261F Comer Group International Irish St LegerThe Stewards enquired into an incident about one furlong from the finish involving Capri, ridden by P.B. Beggy, unplaced, Southern France, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed third and Twilight Payment, ridden by K.J. Manning, placed seventh, where it appeared that Capri ran short of room when racing close to the rails. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that any interference caused was accidental in nature and took no further action.
261G Tattersalls Ire. Super Auction Sale StksD. Tudhope, rider of Upstate New York trained by Richard Fahey, reported to the Clerk of Scales that he had difficulty steering his mount during this race possibly caused by the headgear fitted.
The Stewards interviewed Hollie Doyle, rider of Maystar, concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Hollie Doyle was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using her whip with excessive frequency. Having taken her previous record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned Hollie Doyle on this occasion.
The Stewards interviewed A. Atzeni, rider of Stone Circle, concerning his use of the whip in latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that A. Atzeni was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned A. Atzeni on this occasion.
261H Ir. Stal. Farms EBF 'Northfields' H'capM.A. Gallagher, rider of Great Grey trained by Luke W. Comer, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost his action when asked to quicken in the closing stages of this race.
