A.J. Slattery, rider of Belardeen trained by Miss Hilary McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around under pressure.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Belardeen, ridden by A.J. Slattery, New York Dreams (GB), ridden by B.M. Coen, Ottey, ridden by M.A. Enright, and Saffies Glory, ridden by N.M. Crosse, where it appeared that bumping occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. B.M Coen, stated that he suffered slight interference but was going backwards at the time. M.A Enright, stated that his mount kept straight. N. M. Crosse, stated that the horse on his outside ran green and drifted inwards. A. J. Slattery, stated that his mount ran green and momentarily caused interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that A. J. Slattery, was in breach of Rule 214 (careless riding) and having considered his record, they cautioned him on this occasion.

W.M. Lordan, rider of Shining Crystal (GB) trained by Adrian Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned left in the last furlong.

108C Irish EBF Auction Series M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Polar Bear, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Trinity Road trained by Jack W. Davison, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right under pressure.

The Stewards informed Edward Lynam, trainer that Chevillon, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

The Stewards enquired into a incident in the closing stages involving Company Keeping, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, Brightburn, ridden by Ciara Flynn, and Pallasmore Lass, ridden by S. Foley, where it appeared that Pallasmore Lass moved left in the closing stage. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. P. McDonogh, stated that the horses on his out side moved across him. Ciara Flynn, stated that the horse on her outside came across her a little. S. Foley, stated that his mount was green when she hit the front and went left under pressure. He also added that he used his whip in the forehand position for corrective purposes. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that S. Foley, was in breach of Rule 214 (careless riding) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 2 racedays. Mr. S. McDonogh, Acting Steward absented himself from this enquiry.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Company Keeping trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got carried left in the last furlong.

S. Foley, rider of Pallasmore Lass trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount went left when she hit the front.

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Tastyee trained by David Kenneth Budds, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung a little right late on.

108G Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C&G) M'dn

The Stewards reviewed the movement of Flying Dolphin, ridden by B.M. Coen, were he appeared to move towards the rail in the closing stages of this race. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
