The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

A.J. Slattery rode Share The Treasure (reserve) trained by T.Hogan (Race 3).
J.A. Heffernan rode Irish Boyo (GB) (reserve) trained by John Joseph Hanlon (Race 4).

087A Welcome To Racing Home For Easter M'dn

The Raceday Stewards informed Kevin Thomas Coleman, trainer, that Kasper Hauser (GB) would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

087C SIS, Supporting Irish Racing H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the start of this race where it appeared stall 16 didn't open correctly resulting in Poppadom, ridden by J.S. Dalton, to completely miss the break having gotten stuck in the stalls. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, Andrew Slattery, trainer, Derek Cullen, I.H.R.B. Starter, and a representitive from the stall handlers team. J.S. Dalton said his horse charged the gate and got his nose stuck. Derek Cullen said from his vantage point he saw the horse charge the stall but waited until he was settled before releasing the gates. Having considered all the evidence, the Raceday Stewards declared Poppadom a non runner under the provisions of Rule 209(v) and took no further action.

R.M Mulligan, rider of Notforalongtime (GB), trained by Laura Hourigan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got carried out a little in the last furlong.

J.S. Dalton, rider of Poppadom, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got his nose stuck in the stall gate resulting in them not opening.

R. Whearty, rider of Sofia Tesoro, trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped slow and never travelled.

087D SIS, Supporting Irish Racing M'dn

C.D. Hayes, rider of Kasgani, trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green in the straight.

S. Foley, rider of Kingstonian (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled at any stage.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined So Scottish (FR), trained by Emmet Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have lost a right fore shoe but to be otherwise post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kingstonian (GB), trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Mrs John Harrington, trainer of Kingstonian (GB), reported to the Stewards' Secretaries through her representative that her charge scoped dirty post race.

087F Easter Festival April 19th - 21st H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident halfway down the back straight involving Sylkie (GB), ridden by R.P. Cleary, and Joe Masseria, ridden by N.M. Crosse where it appeared Joe Masseria received a bump from Sylkie. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R.P. Cleary stated his mount was difficult and running keen when he took off heels bumping Joe Masseria by accident in the process. N.M. Crosse said he received a bump from the horse in his inner. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Razdan, trained by Chris Timmons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls.

R.P. Cleary, rider of Sylkie (GB), trained by Daniel John Howard, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was keen early.

087G Buy Tickets Online And Save H'cap

D. McMonagle, rider of Junkyard Dog, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right in the straight.

R. Whearty, rider of Georg Zhukov, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount took a keen hold.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Glinka, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.

087H Racing Again Tomorrow H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving Grizabella, ridden by D. McMonagle, placed second and Plunkett Street (GB), ridden by L.F. Roche, placed first, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. McMonagle said he went for a run down the inside and Plunkett Street drifted across, tightening him and caused him to switch. He added the interference cost him the winning of the race. L.F. Roche said his mount hung right all the way up the straight and felt Grizabella had enough time to get into the gap if he was good enough. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

D. McMonagle, rider of Grizabella, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got carried right and had to switch which cost him the winning of the race.

L.F. Roche, rider of Plunkett Street (GB), trained by Michael William O'Meara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.
