At the request of the Stewards, C.D. Timmons, rider of Razdan, trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was reluctant to go to post, the faller put him off early, everything happened a little too quick for him and he stayed on.

261D Irish Stallion Farms EBF (M) H'cap H'dle

The Stewards enquired into the false start of this race. Evidence was heard from IHRB Starter, Mr. P.L. Malone, who stated that a number of horses came forward before he started the race which caused the false start. Evidence was also heard from N. Terrassin, rider of Whatucallher, and G. Brouder, rider of Metersandmasks. N. Terrassin stated that his mount got a bump at the start which encouraged his horse to move forward. G. Brouder stated that his mount was very hot at the start and was attempting to bite the horses around her before breaking into a canter when he had wanted to get a lead. Having viewed the recording of the false start and considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the riders' explanations and took no further action.

E. Walsh, rider of The Caddy Rose trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

261E P&D Lydon Beginners S'chase

J.C. Canavan, rider of Earths Furies trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Daring Decree, trained by Norman Lee, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be making an abnormal respiratory noise post race.

261G Eamon Sheridan Groundworks INH Flat Race

The Stewards reviewed an incident leaving the back straight involving Merlin Giant (FR), ridden by Mr D. O'Connor, Ladiam, ridden by Ms L. O'Neill, and Moyode Mist, ridden by Miss J. Townend, where it appeared Ladiam checked briefly. Having viewed the recording of the race, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

261H Good Luck To Mayo H'cap S'chase

The Stewards enquired into an incident approximately four and a half furlongs from the finish involving Save Us Avis, ridden by B. Browne, placed fifth and Capture The Drama, ridden by A.M. King, unplaced, where it appeared Save Us Avis ran short of room on the inside rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. B. Browne stated that his mount had plenty of room on the inner when Capture The Drama came back in on top of him, cutting across him, nearly bringing him down. He also stated that he let a roar at Mr. King as he cut across him. A.M. King stated that he had made the running, his mount was tired and on the rail and he thought the horse on his inner was a loose horse. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found A.M. King in breach of Rule 214 (Dangerous Riding)as they were satisfied that he had ridden in a way that was far below that of a competent and careful rider and suspended him for 14 race days and also ordered that he forfeit his riding fee.

C.J. Orr, rider of Change Hill trained by James Daniel Dullea, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.

S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of Sanibel Island, trained by Patrick G.Kelly, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount's saddle slipped after the fourth last.
