The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Ms. Avena O'Keeffe, regarding the failure of S.M. O'Donovan, rider of Theatre Princess, placed sixth, to weigh in after this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he made an error as he didn't realise he was required to weigh in for finishing in sixth position. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion S.M. O'Donovan was in breach of Rule 227 in that he had failed to present himself to weigh in, and consequently, using their powers under Rule 230, disqualified Theatre Princess from sixth place. Furthermore, they cautioned the rider and advised him to familiarise himself with the Rules.

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Circe's Island, trained by Thomas Gibney, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount jumped poorly throughout.

The Stewards interviewed Mr J.J. Codd, rider of Sizingdowntherhine, placed second, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards accepted the explanation offered and took no further action.
