The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

A.P.Heskin rode Maguire's Glen (reserve) , trained by Miss Elizabeth Doyle (Race 3)
A.P.Heskin rode Lord Alfie (reserve) , trained by Miss Elizabeth Doyle (Race 6)

070B Ingard Point (Mares) M'dn H'dle

S.A. Shortall, rider of Gem And I (GB) trained by M.M. Rice, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped and pulled up.

D.N. Russell, rider of Lily Rock, trained by Miss Mary Louise Hallahan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a respiratory noise in running and pulled up.

070C Welcome To Chef Phelim Byrne H'cap H'dle

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Totally Couture, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be lame post race.

070D Oysters Point H'cap H'dle

D.N. Russell, rider of Oscar Sam, trained by J.P.Dempsey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled.

070F Taghmon Athletics Club Day H'cap S'chase

The Stewards requested a report from Miss Elizabeth Doyle, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Lord Alfie, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that her charge has had a wind operation since his last run as he wasn't finishing out his races well. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
