The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Mexican Border (GER), at the request of trainer, W.J. Burke, and reported the animal to be post race normal.

125B Graun Hill Suite For Parties H'cap H'dle

A.E. Lynch, rider of Wisty, trained by Edward Stanners, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost his action in running.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Wisty, at the request of trainer, Edward Stanners, and reported the animal to be post race normal.

125C Tramore Racecourse Supp. Club M'dn H'dle

The Stewards requested a report from Michael Winters, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Missed Cloud, placed second, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge disappointed on his first start over hurdles, on ground softer than ideal. He stated that his yard is now in much better form having been under a cloud. He concluded by saying that today's good ground contributed to the improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

The Stewards interviewed M.P. Butler, rider of Royal Chief, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.4, in that he failed to give his mount time to respond and having considered his record, suspended him for two race days.

D.N. Russell, rider of Up The Hill, trained by John W. Nicholson, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a respiratory noise in running.

E.D. Linehan, rider of The Mad Well, trained by Eugene M. O'Sullivan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled in running.

125F Tramore Racecourse Supp.Club Beg.S'chase

B.T. O'Connell, rider of Express Du Berlais (FR), trained by C.A.Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a respiratory noise in running and did not handle the track.

Gordon Michael Doyle, trainer of Claire Pet, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge burst blood vessels in running.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Claire Pet, at the request of trainer, Gordon Michael Doyle, and reported the animal to be bleeding from both nostrils.
