The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

B.Hayes rode Fennis Moll (reserve) , trained by John Joseph Hanlon (Race 5)
A.P.Crowe replaced M.P. Walsh on Curraghchase, trained by E. J. O'Grady (Race 4)(injured)
A.P.Crowe replaced M.P. Walsh on Pleased As Punch, trained by Augustine Leahy (Race 3)(injured)
Mr. J.J. Codd replaced Mr J.P. McKeown on Aces And Kings, trained by W.Newman (Race 6)(injured)

074B Live The Dream With Tote M'dn H'dle

The Stewards requested a report from J.Halley, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Triumphant, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge disappointed on his last start in Gowran on very heavy ground. He added that today's better ground helped his charge return to form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. W. Fleming, regarding the failure of K.P. Darcy, rider of Boherna Lady, placed, fifth to weigh in after this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered his evidence the Stewards disqualified Boherna Lady and severely cautioned the rider concerning his future responsibilities in this regard.

074D Live The Dream With Tote H'cap H'dle

A.E. Lynch, rider of West Council, trained by I.Madden, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that the reins broke in running and pulled up.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Volkis O'Blue (FR), at the request of trainer, Andrew Slattery, and reported the animal to be lame post race.

074F Tote Trifrcta Rollover Hunters S'chase

Mr C.J. Sweeney, rider of Slighamach, trained by Rodger Sweeney, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a respiratory noise in running.

The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Slighamach, trained by Rodger Sweeney, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

074G Live The Dream (M) (P-A) INH Flat Race

The Stewards enquired into an incident before the turn into the straight involving Milford Maggie, ridden by A.F. O'Neill, placed fifth and My Betty, ridden by Mr A.J. Walsh, placed fourth. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr A.J. Walsh was in breach of Rule 214, having ridden carelessly and having considered his record, suspended him for seven race days.
